I'd say the game most certainly is.not.
a reflection of historical accuracy. Japanese tanks have incorrect models, incorrect performance values, incorrect armor values, US tanks have incorrect performance values, even aircraft are plagued by this issue.Gaijin's goal isn't to make a game that's 'historically accurate', it's to make one that caters to the lowest common denominator in the Russian market - the people that suck incessantly from Stalin's ♥♥♥♥ like it shoots out soda and grants wishes. That being said? The game.was. worse, and the examples of bias even more significant - but they have to have a bit of give. Us NA, and the EU players are the ones that predominantly invest into War Thunder - they can't afford to scare all of us off.
Just the ones that are smart enough to not spend money and invest extensive amounts of time into the game. Also, the OP - outside of saying that he feels like his MBT-70 gets lapped in reloading (to which I don't think it does), he never mentioned bias JUST historical accuracy. To which he's right, but in the wrong direction - the MBT 70's reload speed should be slower in return for one extra crew member, and the ability to fire ATGMs (the Kpz 70 shouldn't be allowed to fire ATGMs, should have a shorter reload speed thanks to a fully-automated mechanical loader, and should have one less crew member 3 vs. Originally posted by:just to inform you the 6 second reload the mbt70 used to get was based on an autoloader which was never actually installed and couldnt load ATGMs (intended for the kpz70 as the german army wasnt interested in the gun/launcher combo), they changed it to reflect the autoloader which was actually completed which could handle ATGMsAnd that is why the MBT 70 is basically an M18 on steroids. Can be penned by any solid shot of any tank it will face.
It is the worst MBT. This myth has been debunked several times now, even in this very thread itself. Originally posted by:Personally, i gave up on trying to get any upgrades for it. I got it last week, so way past the time everyone was stock and you could club lower tiers.
I've got 10 games on record and 4 kills in it, and they were only side shots on a T-64A. So, now i've just gone back to playing the T-64A.When I stock grinded the KPZ-70 I did it in tank assault PVE and it went really fast.I know they made it more difficult now but if you get a win and a decent number of kills that still gives about 6000-8000 modification RP. Maybe try thatt out.
